Update on my situation.... having initially told me that I'd have to pursue a refund via PayPal, they've now refunded my money although I'll have to wait up to a week to get it. Also, offered to refund the original credit on my Skype account, but I'll have to unblock my account and log in to collect it - much too dangerous as I fear this will all start again, so I'll have to kiss that goodbye. Problem is that the 1st line of customer service don't seem empowered to do anything beyond stating the blindingly obvious and giving patronising 'advice' about security. I still can't believe that this can happen as a few sensible steps could prevent it e.g. additional security details required to reactivate recharge option.
